<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified Counsellor/Psychologists for this permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, commencing in 2022. </p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>A commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Marist tradition.</li><li>Tertiary qualifications in Counselling, Social work or Psychology.</li><li>Current membership of an appropriate professional association (eg AASW, APS, PACFA or CAPA).</li><li>Experience working with secondary students (ages 12-18) and particularly with girls is desirable.</li><li>An understanding of the current issues affecting adolescent girls.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and engage with multiple stakeholders.</li><li>Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>An understanding of current child protection legislation.</li></ul><p>Interested applicants should submit a cover letter addressing the selection criteria to the Principal, Dr Anne Ireland, a current resume and completed <b><i>Employment Application Form for Support Staff </i></b>(found on our website under Employment Opportunities) and certified copies of qualifications.</p><p>The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain a valid Working With Children Check from the Office of the Children&#39;s Guardian.</p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
