Administrative Assistant - Student Services

<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional administrative assistant who is committed to working as part of a team to support the teaching and learning objectives of the College. </p><p>This is a level 4 full-time position 8 am to 4 pm (averaged - do not work school holidays).</p><p>As the first point of contact for student inquiries, you are responsible for providing excellent client service to the College&#39;s students, parents, and staff, and ensuring the service is friendly and welcoming. </p><p>This is a diverse and challenging role that requires someone who enjoys meeting people and who is able to quickly connect with others. Your flexibility and time management skills will be crucial to your success in this role. </p><p>Core duties include but are not limited to: </p><ul><li>Providing administrative support to teachers and the Executive Leadership Team </li><li>Creating a welcoming and excellent service environment for the College </li><li>Managing student attendance records including absentee, late arrival and early departure </li><li>Overseeing and managing student Sick Bay </li><li>Managing student transport passes and Lost and Confiscated Property </li><li>Managing student information, communication and support </li><li>Ensuring all student records are accurate and up-to-date </li><li>Acting as First Aid Officer.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes: </p><ul><li>Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and a can do attitude </li><li>Flexible and adaptable attitude to work and the ability to work flexible hours when required </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus and the ability to handle school information with discretion, tact, and diplomacy with excellent customer service </li><li>A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Strong experience with Google Suite / MS Office </li><li>Experience with COMPASS would be an advantage </li><li>First aid certificate in an education setting would be an advantage </li><li>Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of our College and compliant with Sydney Catholic Schools privacy policies </li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
