<p>St Damian&#39;s is seeking two (2) Learning Support Officers to join our dynamic team of educational support staff.  Learning Support Officers (LSO&#39;s) work within the classroom  to support students with additional needs.  LSO&#39;s work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to ensure that the students have equal access to the curriculum and support them, under the direction of the classroom teacher, to achieve their full potential.  </p><p>The timeframe is 20 - 25 hours per week, negotiable.</p><p>The successful applicants will: </p><ul><li>    have the capacity to enrich and enhance the development of our school culture</li><li>    demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team</li><li>    demonstrate a passion for learning and instill this in the students </li><li>    have experience in working with students diagnosed with ASD or other diagnosed needs</li><li>    demonstrate a passion for learning and instill this in the students </li><li>    be flexible and open to working with students across the year levels. </li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><p>Applicants must have current VIT registration and a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education. A current COVID vaccination certificate is a must.</p>
