To ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our diverse stakeholders, the Finance and Administration team, part of Capital Resourcing at CEDP, are looking for an enthusiastic Family Assistance Officer to join the team on a Temporary basis.

We are always on the lookout for top talent to help us achieve our strategic goal of transforming learning through quality catholic schooling and by strengthening the professional lives of our employees.</p> <p dir="ltr">To ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our diverse stakeholders, the Finance and Administration team, part of Capital Resourcing at CEDP, are looking for an enthusiastic Family Assistance Officer to join the team on a Temporary basis.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Reporting to the School Fee Liaison Unit Manager, the focus of your role will be to support a designated portfolio with the management of school fees as a valued member of a team of five. More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work with families and schools in a designated portfolio&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ensure school fees are collected</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Managing issues of hardship and payment problems</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Responding to school fee debt enquiries for a designated portfolio of families</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ensuring effective communication with principals, finance staff and families on fee debt matters</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Identify hardship and provide advice to ensure student retention</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Developing and improving school fee liaison processes and procedures&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of CEPD along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area or study</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience in credit/receivables</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience working with medium to large organisations&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ability to show empathy and work closely with families to develop payment plans</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Some experience working with clients experiencing hardship</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an Employer of Choice in our sector.
