St Catherine’s Catholic College, Singleton is seeking a permanent part time (17 hours per week) Canteen Supervisor to join the team in 2022. St Catherine's Catholic College draws its students from the Singleton local Government Area. Singleton is approximately 73 kilometres from Newcastle, close to attractions such as historical villages of Morpeth and Wollombi and a 30minute drive from the beautiful vineyard area of the Hunter Valley. The College is a co-educational school offering a comprehensive curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. We have a Gifted Education Program and provide differentiated curriculum for students with diverse learning needs, both intervention and extension. <p> Should have: <br>• Knowledge of Healthy Canteens strategies and Food Safety Standards <br>• Ability to provide a safe, nutritious and viable food service <br>• Ability to train and supervise volunteers and make rosters <br>• Experience in food service operations such as ordering, purchasing, stock control, storage and wastage <br>• Ability to efficiently manage financial activities like budgets, pricing costing and banking procedures <br>• Ability to work cooperatively with school executive, volunteers and relevant committees <br>• High level of communication and interpersonal skills in relating to students, parents and teachers <br>• Ability to be available for catering for functions/celebrations such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Orientations, Parent Information Sessions, etc. The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect.
