<p>Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College, Kensington is seeking an innovative, experienced and collaborative leader to fill this key role in the College.</p><p> </p><p>The <i>Leader of School Operations</i> is responsible for the administration and efficient day-to-day operation of the College including daily staffing, rooming, exams, staff duty management, student data management, testing and College events/operations - ensuring requirements for the setting up of facilities including assemblies. The <i>Leader of School Operations</i> plays a key role in the annual timetabling of the College as well as daily timetable changes.</p><p>Core to this role is the responsibility for fostering and maintaining structures and processes that enable the College to function and respond to the duty of care and educational needs of the students in line with the College&#39;s strategic vision. </p><h5><br /></h5><h5> </h5><h5><b>Key Selection Criteria: </b></h5><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of all students. </li><li>Exemplary classroom practitioner with a proven track record of student growth.</li><li>Committed to the learning and growth of all students with the ability to investigate and promote a range of structures and practices to support and promote improved pedagogy and teaching practice in a practical way.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in effectively managing whole organisational systems and procedures, identifying patterns and trends to reach a successful outcome.</li><li>Ability to engage in creative strategic planning to ensure the employment and deployment of staff, including the use of collaborative practices and spaces to ensure the College is at the forefront of best practice pedagogy.</li><li>Model the highest standards of professional practice and interaction with students and colleagues. </li><li>Demonstrated aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.</li><li>Ability to define challenges clearly and seek positive solutions, communicating  decisions that are informed and supported by available evidence and analysis.</li><li>Demonstrated high level communication, presentation and negotiation skills.</li><li>Demonstrated high level organisational, change and project management skills.</li></ul><h5><b>Desirable:</b></h5><ul><li>Previous experience in a school environment and with industrial instruments would be an advantage.</li><li>Previous knowledge of and competency with Edval and Compass would be an advantage but not essential.</li><li>Good communication, empathy and relationship building skills. </li><li>Honesty, integrity and authenticity in dealings with parents, students and colleagues.</li></ul><p><b>Position begins: </b>February 2022 (Negotiable)</p><p><b><a href="https://forms.gle/ma3Mn3c7FGT578m98" rel="nofollow">Teacher Application Form</a></b></p><p><b>Interviews may begin prior to the closing date. </b></p><p><i>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
