We are currently looking to fill 3 vacancies within this growing team due to internal staff movements and parental leave.</p> <ol> <li>Full-time, ongoing position based at our Northern Region Office in Moonee Ponds</li> <li>Full-time, fixed term position until September 2023 based at our Eastern Region Office in Croydon</li> <li>Full-time, fixed term position until January 2023 based at our Western Region Office in Werribee</li> </ol> <p>Applications are sought from suitably qualified <strong>new graduates</strong>, <strong>early career</strong> and <strong>experienced</strong> Speech Pathologists to provide support to schools in enhancing learning outcomes for students with communication impairments and provide advice regarding school needs and trends in the area of speech pathology.<br> <br> The Speech Pathologist team at MACS is well-resourced and provided ongoing support and supervision in a collaborative working environment. Plenty of opportunities for professional growth are available across the team.<br> <br> The salary range for this position is $73,938 - $97,812 per annum (SP Grade 2, subdivision 1 - SP Grade 3, subdivision 6) and is classified under the Speech Pathologist scale of the <em><a href="http://www.cecv.catholic.edu.au/Media-Files/IR/EB/Proposed-VCEMEA-2018/VCEMEA-2018-web.aspx">Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018</a></em>.<br> <br> <strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong><br> The successful applicant will have well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to consult effectively and manage multiple stakeholder interests whilst working collaboratively within a team. You will have knowledge in developing school/home based programs for students with communication impairments, maintain an awareness of recent developments in the management of communication impairments in school aged children and the ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of assessment, intervention and progress.<br> <br> While experience in a school based environment will be highly regarded, ongoing support and supervision will be provided to speech pathologists who are recent graduates or who do not have extensive experience working in schools.<br> <br> The successful candidate must hold or acquire a Working with Children Check, and must be willing to acquire a National Police Record Check.
