Contract Type: Contract Position Part Time (0.50 FTE)

Our Lady of Lourdes is seeking an energetic and experienced Learning Support Officer with exceptional teamwork skills and a commitment to working collaboratively. The successful applicant will need to work under the direction of the Leadership team, specifically the Learning Diversity Coordinator and classroom teachers. The position will begin at the beginning of the 2022 school year.
<p><i><b><u>E</u></b><u><b>ss</b>ential Criteria</u></i></p><ul><li>demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education </li><li>have relevant qualifications in education support within a primary school setting</li><li>have a current Working With Children Check</li><li>have a current First Aid Certificate</li><li>have experience in delivering evidence-based learning intervention programs for students with a specific range of learning support needs including cognitive, sensory, physical and social/emotional disabilities.</li><li>be fully vaccinated in accordance with Sydney Catholic Schools employment policy</li></ul><p><i><u>Desirable Criteria</u></i></p><ul><li>relevant training, knowledge and experience in supporting students with Type 1 Diabetes</li></ul>
