We welcome applications from suitably qualified people of all ages, genders, cultural and linguistic backgrounds.</p> <p>MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> <br> Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced occupational therapists to work in a multi-disciplinary team providing support to schools, designing education adjustments to enhance learning outcomes for students with complex communication, sensory and behavioural needs.<br> <br> Salary for this role ranges between $86,171 - $97,812 per annum commensurate with skills and experience. Annual leave of four weeks and professional working hours apply to this position.<br> <br> This is a full time, ongoing role based at our Head Office in East Melbourne.<br> <br> <strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong><br> <br> The successful applicant will have extensive experience in early interventions or school settings, and the development of behaviour support plans for inclusion of students with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviours. You will have well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to consult effectively and manage multiple stakeholder interests whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.<br> <br> Experience in a school based environment will be highly regarded.<br> <br> The successful candidate must hold or acquire a Working with Children Check, and must be willing to acquire a National Police Record Check.
