<p>To successfully fulfill the College’s Mission and Vision we provide a coordinated approach to enable each student the opportunity to flourish in their learning. The role of the Nurse will be strategic in this provision</p><p>• Be responsible for the provision of initial first aid response, provide advice and administer first aid. </p><p>• Maintain all student medical records and ensure that first aid facilities and supplies are maintained. </p><p>• Train staff and students in health and safety. </p><p>• Be an active member of the WHS committee. </p><p>• Be part of the support staff team and complete administration duties as required. </p><p>• Display discretion, confidentiality, honesty and integrity.</p><p> • Be positive, self-directed, enthusiastic and motivated. </p><p>• Demonstrate adaptability, resilience and the ability to manage work related pressures.</p><p> • Work cooperatively and collectively as a member of a team, participating in planning and team meetings. </p><p>• Build positive, caring relationships with students, being mindful that they understand the roles of teacher and student. </p><p>• Establish positive relationships with parents, specifically those of the students in their direct care. </p><p>• Seek to maintain and build upon their professional expertise by participating in appropriate professional development courses.</p>
