<p>Aquinas Catholic College is a Systemic Co-educational College located in the Sutherland Shire with an enrolment of 1,096 students and 108 staff. Established in 1993 the College is a faith based educational community centred on Jesus Christ, enlivened by the Gospels and with the model of St Thomas Aquinas as a faithful learner. </p><p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified TAS teachers, with a passion for extending students and developing their confidence to study TAS at the highest level, for this permanent/ongoing full time position at the College from 28 January 2022. </p><p><b>Essential Criteria </b></p><ul><li>A commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students. </li><li>Ability and qualifications to teach Stages 4 TAS and Stage 5-6 Industrial Technology Timber. </li><li>Commitment to academic excellence. </li><li>An understanding of and ability to differentiate curriculum and assessment. </li><li>The capacity to empower students to be independent and creative learners. </li><li>A genuine desire to build professional relationships which promote a shared commitment and a sense of achievement. </li><li>Commitment to the co-curricular life of the College. </li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria </b></p><ul><li>VET Construction qualifications or willingness to train. </li></ul><p><b>How to apply </b></p><p>Applicants should include the following and be addressed to the Principal, Mr James Clancy at principal&#64;aquinasmenai.catholic.edu.au: </p><ol><li>A cover letter addressing the essential criteria. </li><li>Curriculum Vitae including the contact details of three referees (including your current and most previous Principal/employer). </li></ol><p>Applications close Thursday 20 January 2022. </p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
