<p>Marist Catholic College North Shore, a Coeducational K-12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St. Marcellin Champagnat, seeks to employ a suitable person for the role of: </p><h4>TAS Teacher - Permanent<br />(Permanent Commencing Term 1 , 2022) </h4><h5>Interviews may commence with candidates prior to the closing date.</h5><h5><br /></h5><h5> </h5><p>Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS) is experiencing an increase in enrolment having embarked on a transformative educational project. With an increased and coeducational cohort, a broader subject selection and therefore the creation of more teaching and learning roles, the College is preparing for an innovative future. With a deliberate focus on student achievement, teaching and learning methodology, school wellbeing, faith development and school resourcing programs, we aspire to attract candidates who will help bring about for our students One school - Unlimited possibilities. </p><h4>Key Selection Criteria:</h4><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following: </p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support faith formation of students.</li><li>Be well versed in current research and practice in the signature pedagogies in TAS, experienced in applying a range of assessment practices, including assessment for learning, and have access to a variety of stimulating, high-quality resources that support exemplary teaching and learning.</li><li>Create engaging, intellectually challenging and safe learning environments through planning, implementing and evaluating rigorous and inclusive learning programs.</li><li>Sensitive and responsive to all aspects of the context in which they teach including use of technology and other resources, teaching practices and ways in which assessment and feedback is provided to students.</li><li>A commitment to continual improvement of teaching practice, evidenced through participation in professional development and reflective practice.</li><li>A capacity to work creatively and constructively within a range of &#39;communities&#39; inside and beyond the school and to set high, measurable and aspirational goals for yourself and the students in your care.</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills reflecting an ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and students.</li></ul><p>All applications are to be submitted in writing and addressed to: </p><p><b>Mr Anthony Boys<br />Principal K-12<br />Email: p.richardson&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au</b></p><p>The application letter will need to reflect the key selection criteria for the position.   All teachers at MCCNS are expected to demonstrate high order ICT skills, and a willingness for further skill development, for teaching and administration purposes.
