The school is part of the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst and was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1909. St Joseph’s aims to give every child the opportunity to reach their full potential in all facets of school life.</p> <p>About a 50-minute drive north of Dubbo, Gilgandra is set on the banks of the Castlereagh River and the excellent climate allows outdoor activities to be enjoyed all year round.
