<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced teacher for the above teaching position. Successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team of teachers dedicated to inclusive and effective learning within a learning environment which provides a rigorous, balanced and relevant curriculum focused on the unique needs of each child:</p> <p><em><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></em></p><ul><li>assist in the development and Implementation of a Gifted and Talented Program for Gifted and Talented students</li><li>liaise and collaborate with various staff to create pathways for students</li><li>provide a high standard of teaching practice based upon an understanding of varied teaching and learning approaches</li><li>work with teachers in developing effective differentiation teaching and learning programs.</li><li>assess/identify students for inclusion in a Gifted and Talented Program</li><li>use evidence based practice to inform assessment and decision making</li><li>assess and monitor student’s progress and providing written feedback to students, parents and teachers</li><li>work in conjunction with classroom teachers to provide instruction in differentiation in higher level thinking skills and problem solving skills for all students</li><li>act as a resource person for teachers and lead professional development </li><li>believe that through collective actions, educators can influence student outcomes and increase student growth</li><li>commitment in building positive relationships with all members of the school community.</li></ul> <p>- applicants are required to nominate three referees, one of whom must be a School Principal.</p><p>- applicants will have to provide proof of double vaccination.</p>
