The Learning Diversity Leader has a key role in the interpretation and implementation of the NCCD (Nationally Consistent Collection of Data) and together with Additional Needs Coordinators, Academic staff and Learning Support Officers ensures engaging, high-quality teaching, meaningful learning and positive student outcomes for students with diverse learning needs is provided.

<p>Parade College is a leading Catholic Boys Secondary School located in Melbourne. Parade College is a member of the national body of Catholic schools known as Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA). Parade College, in common with these schools, takes its inspiration from Br Edmund Rice, founder of the Christian Brothers. The values of the College are enshrined in the Charter for Edmund Rice Schools, and in the College Mission Statement. </p><p>As a long-standing Catholic school for boys in the Edmund Rice tradition, Parade College strives to be a learning community that offers best practice education and pastoral care to its students to foster fullness of life and holistic growth for all. </p><p>Applications are invited for the position of Learning Diversity Leader from suitably qualified, highly motivated and innovative leaders with a passion for Catholic Education in the Edmund Rice Tradition and the safety and wellbeing of children. Well organised, emotionally intelligent and in possession of excellent communication skills, the successful applicant will have a deep affinity for and understanding of the educative needs of boys’ in secondary education.  </p><p><b>The Position</b><br /></p><p>The Learning Diversity Leader works with the Director of Student Support Services in leading the development and implementation of support for students with diverse learning needs. </p><p> </p><p>The Learning Diversity Leader has a key role in the interpretation and implementation of the NCCD (Nationally Consistent Collection of Data) and together with Additional Needs Coordinators, Academic staff and Learning Support Officers ensures engaging, high-quality teaching, meaningful learning and positive student outcomes for students with diverse learning needs is provided. <br /></p><p>The Learning Diversity Leader plays a pivotal role at the College in the professional development and support of staff understanding and knowledge of inclusive pedagogy, contemporary strategies and the requirements of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data.<br /></p><p> The successful candidate for the position will commence 28 January 2022.
