The position of School Support Officer is to assist with administrative & financial functions, by supporting the Principal and Senior School Finance Officer. The successful applicant must possess a willingness to be a collaborative team member, with flexibility & ability to adapt to changing school requirements and needs. Commencing 28/1/2022.

<div><b>Essential Criteria:</b><br /></div><ul><li>Experience in Compass, Ancestry &amp; CiAnywhere systems.</li><li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion.</li><li>Working with Children Check Clearance (for Paid Employment).</li><li>Support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church&#39;s work in schools.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication &amp; interpersonal skills and able to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff.</li><li>Advanced word processing proficiency in MS Office &amp; Google suite, including spreadsheets.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to take direction and work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.</li><li>Willingness and capacity to take initiative and to engage in ongoing professional growth and learning.</li><li>Accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.</li></ul><p>Applications should be addressed to the College Principal and sent via email to the Principal&#39;s PA at:<br /></p><p>maureen.oxford&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au</p><p>Successful applications must comply with the NSW Child Protection legislation.</p><p>Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
