<p>The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:</p><p>A clear understanding of and commitment to the vision and mission of Catholic schools</p><p>Experience in the use of NCCD and the capacity to effectively work in a team to support teachers in developing shared understandings for all staff</p><p>Willingness to work in flexible classrooms to support the specific needs of a variety of students</p><p>Relevant qualifications appropriate to the role of teaching students with diverse learning needs </p><p>Sound knowledge of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers</p><p>Ability to collaboratively design learning experiences for students with special needs that are age and need appropriate</p><p>Sound knowledge of the English curriculum and ability to coach, mentor and model excellent teaching practice</p><p>Proven effectiveness in working co operatively as part of a team</p><p>Highly effective organisation skills and the ability to work to time limits</p><p>SALT compliance</p><p>Child Protection Legislation requires preferred applicants to be subject to employment screening.</p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
