<p>We are seeking an innovative and energetic educator who is qualified to teach Stage 6 Community and Family Studies and Stages 4 &amp; 5 PDHPE in our College in this temporary, full-time position from 7 March 2022 - 20 December 2022.<br /></p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following:</p><p>Commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students.</p><p>Exemplary classroom practice, including the application of a range of evidence-based pedagogical practices that support effective learning and academic rigour.</p><p>Facilitates the ongoing development of differentiated pedagogy and assessment which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data</p><p>A commitment to continual improvement of teaching and learning in PDHPE by modelling differentiated pedagogy and reflective classroom practices as well as facilitating staff professional development in best practice teaching skills and content knowledge.</p><p>Experience or ability to coordinate Duke of Edinburgh Program.</p><p>Highly developed interpersonal skills reflecting an ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and students.</p><p>Collaborates with colleagues to build genuine and professional relationships and to promote shared commitment and a sense of alignment with College strategic directions.</p><p>Excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills.</p><p>Exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate these into a wide range of curriculum applications.</p><p>An innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively.</p><p>Applicants are asked to submit their letter of application, curriculum vitae and append any supporting documentation or letters as <b>PDF documents</b>. </p><p>To apply, applicants must show proof of NESA and Working With Children Check accreditation and be registered to teach with Sydney Catholic Schools or be in the process of. </p><p>Please provide the name and contact details of three referees, two of whom should be your current and immediate past employer. </p><p>Email applications to principal&#64;bethanyhurstville.catholic.edu.au. </p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
