Marist College Kogarah is seeking a collaborative, contemporary, innovative PDHPE Coordinator with strong leadership skills to lead our PDHPE faculty.

<p>The position is a full time permanent position commencing 27 January 2022. The successful applicant will be an inspirational, experienced and collaborative leader with an ability to guide our PDHPE faculty into the future. </p><p><b>Essential Criteria </b></p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education, with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students. </li><li>Recognised as an outstanding classroom teacher who can successfully model contemporary, innovative teaching and assessment practices. </li><li>Qualifications and recent experience in teaching junior and senior PDHPE Courses (HSC marking would be considered an advantage). </li><li>Ability to enthusiastically lead a team fostering innovation, promoting collaboration and driving a shared commitment to a culture of learning. </li><li>Deep knowledge of evidence based contemporary teaching and learning practice including effective assessment and differentiated learning. </li><li>Proven ability to use data to inform faculty planning and support student growth. </li><li>A commitment to Professional Learning and evidence driven improvement for teachers and students. </li><li>Proven ability to develop positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider community. </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of relevant NESA requirements. </li><li>Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular aspects of the College. </li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria</b> (but not limited to): </p><ul><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in Sydney Catholic Schools </li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
