<p>We are looking for a highly skilled teacher with relevant qualifications and experience to take up the position as Learning Diversity Leader.   This role is for 2 days per week with the possibility of an extra day depending on NCCD funding.  </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant will be able to: </p><p> </p><ul><li>be open to ongoing learning and development </li><li>be enthusiastic, motivated and team orientated </li><li>understand the needs of students with additional or special needs and work with teachers and parents to ensure their learning needs are met</li><li>organise and run PSG meetings</li><li>assist teachers with programming to meet the needs of students through developing ILP and other documentation</li><li>liaise with various agencies to support families and students</li><li>work with teachers to ensure documentation is relevant to NCCD funding requirements</li><li>create rosters for Learning Support Officers to ensure students are supported adequately</li><li>Liaise with Learning Support Officers and support them in their work with students</li><li>commit to the philosophy of restorative practice</li><li>possess a sound knowledge and understanding of current thinking and research into curriculum, pedagogy and the Victorian Curriculum</li><li>demonstrate a willingness to nurture the faith of all in our community, actively supporting our Catholic school vision</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><p><b>Applicants must have: </b></p><p> </p><ul><li>current VIT Registration</li><li>a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education.</li><li>a Vaccination certificate for COVID 19 </li></ul>
