Prince of Peace Lutheran College is seeking a Primary Years (P-6) Physical Education Teacher (including Sports Coordinator) (FTE 0.8) who is enthusiastic, innovative, dedicated, and willing to support the Christian ethos of the College.

<div><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located at Everton Hills in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community.</i></div><div><i><br /></i></div><div><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 820 students enrolled. The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West, Everton Park. The Middle &amp; Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, Everton Hills was opened in July 2009 and is home to Years 7-12.<br /><br /></i></div><div>******************************</div><div><br /></div><ul><li><b>This is a permanent part time, </b><strong>FTE 0.8, position, commencing on Thursday 13th January 2022.   <br /><br /></strong></li><li><strong>Both Physical Education Teaching and Sports Coordination are a requirement of this position.<br /><br /></strong></li><li><b>Must be available for an interview the week commencing 6 December.</b><br /><br /></li><li>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed professionals who are enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated, and who are willing to support the Christian ethos of the College and develop as an educator in a team environment.<br /><br /></li></ul><h4><b>SELECTION CRITERIA</b></h4><p><b>1. Demonstrated skills which reflect commitment to, and understanding of, the Christian ethos of the College </b></p><p><b>2. Demonstrated professional skills</b><br /></p><ul><li> Ability to develop professional relationships with children </li><li> Ability to develop professional relationships with staff, colleagues, parents and members of the community </li></ul><p><b>3. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs</b><br /></p><ul><li>Demonstrated knowledge of Queensland Curriculum and Syllabus documents </li><li>Ability to integrate ICTs as cross curricular priorities in the curriculum </li></ul><p><b>4.
