The College is committed to developing in our students the skills to be confident and creative learners in the world in which they live in for today and tomorrow.</p><p><b>About the role </b><br /></p><p>This is a one full time fixed term Careers role. <br /></p><p>The successful candidate can work within a collaborative framework, be an innovative thinker, have well developed IT skills and knowledge and a strong understanding of VCE, VET, VCAL and Secondary pathway options.<br /></p><p>The Pathways Counsellor drives an integrated culture of careers education, student and staff growth and academic excellence, aligned with the College’s Catholic ethos, Marist Spirituality, and Victorian Curriculum. <br /></p><p>They work closely with the Deputy Principal, Deputy Principal (Students), Heads of Learning, Learning Diversity, Learning Leaders, and relevant teams to ensure the development and implementation of a comprehensive careers education program which supports students in preparation for life within and beyond school and future pathways. This includes a focus on supporting students across all year levels with their pathway options based on the notion of life formation.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
