<p><u>St Catherine of Siena Commitment to Child Safe</u>ty<br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>At St Catherine of Siena we strive to maintain a child safe environment where each child feels safe and free to enjoy the day to the full without any concern for their safety. The wellbeing of all children in our care will always be our first priority and we have no tolerance for child abuse.</p><p><u>Learning Diversity Position</u></p><p>We are seeking an experienced, passionate, dynamic and innovative leader to work in partnership with staff, students and the parent community. The Learning Diversity Leader will have an in-depth knowledge of the NCCD model, categories of disability and levels of adjustment and work with staff to employ these to maximise learning for all students. They will oversee effective collection methods so that evidence of these adjustments is centrally based and easily accessed.</p><p>The Learning Diversity leader will also manage the deployment of Student Support Officers to support children in their learning. They will act as a mentor for these staff members ad meet regularly with them to ensure the program is optimising outcomes for all. </p><p>The successful applicant must demonstrate strategic thinking, sound leadership behaviours and skills and the flexibility, enthusiasm, and commitment to be a leader in a primary school. Prior experience in this role is highly desirable.</p><p>St Catherine of Siena is committed to shared leadership and collaborative practice and applicants will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. </p><p>The Learning Diversity Leader position will initially be offered for two years, with opportunity for renewal. The successful applicant will be offered full time ongoing teaching employment at the school. Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons to commence on 28 January 2022. <br /></p>
