Located in the picturesque township of Cygnet, St James Catholic College caters for the needs of approximately 300 students. <p>St James Catholic College, Cygnet, a Kindergarten - Year 10 co-educational College in the Huon Valley is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the position of:</p><p><br /></p><p>College Administration Assistant</p><p>Ongoing - 25 hours per week / 42 weeks</p><p>Commencing: 17 January 2022 </p><p><br /></p><p>Candidates must be able to fully support the Catholic ethos of St James Catholic College. To be eligible applicants require:</p><p><b>Personal capabilities</b></p><ul><li>Reception / customer service experience </li><li>Data processing experience </li><li>Demonstrated professional integrity </li><li>Work collegially and in a team environment </li><li>Communicate effectively with a range of people from differing levels / backgrounds </li><li>Coordinate routine activities, set priorities and deliver tasks on time </li><li>Perform effectively in an environment with competing demands </li><li>Apply literacy and numeracy skills effectively </li><li>Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail </li><li>Act with due care and diligence </li><li>Demonstrated reliability, dependability, flexibility and adaptability </li><li>Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and matters</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence </li><li>Work independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Use initiative to resolve problems in a constructive manner </li></ul><p><b>Essential </b></p><ul><li>Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration </li><li>Accreditation A: Accreditation to work in a Catholic school, or willingness to work towards</li><li>Current and satisfactory National Police Criminal History Check (NPCHC) </li><li>Ability to maintain College social media and promotions platforms</li></ul><p><b>Desirable </b></p><ul><li>Certificate III Business Administration or equivalent </li><li>Current first aid qualification </li><li>Current Tasmanian vehicle driver licence </li></ul><p>We demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply.</p><p><br /></p>
