<p>You will be part of the College&#39;s Welfare team, with a focus on Primary School aged children.</p><p><b>Requirements </b><br /></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years&#39; experience supporting children and adolescents </li><li>Ability to assess the emotional and psychological wellbeing and needs of students using psychological and educational assessments, rating scales and observations where appropriate</li><li>Making recommendations and initiating ongoing therapy and other interventions for individuals and groups</li><li>Individual and family therapy (as required)</li><li>Experience dealing with mental health issues</li><li>Writing reports and recommendations</li><li>Referral and liaison with outside agencies and professionals</li><li>Proactive devising, coordinating and facilitating educational programmes that address whole school issues as well as year-specific issues or concerns</li><li>Support for the ethos of the school</li><li>Qualified to inform school policy based on training, experience and expertise</li><li>Appropriate professional membership, such as APS or AHPRA</li><li>Double-vaccinated, per Public Health Order (PHO) for face-to-face sessions on school campus.</li></ul>
