The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) is a leading education provider and one of Western Sydney’s largest employers. A recent reinvigoration of our People & Culture team has resulted in the creation of a Talent Acquisition Manager position to lead a new dedicated Talent team.

We are always on the lookout for great talent&nbsp; to help us transform the learning of every student and enrich the professional lives of our staff in a Catholic learning community.</p> <p dir="ltr">To meet the needs of our diverse stakeholders, the Talent Acquisition function within CEDP has undergone a transformation and we are seeking an astute TA leader to join our P&amp;C leadership team to collaborate with senior school leadership and central office teams to continue to improve our ability to meet CEDPs current and future talent needs .</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">The TA Manager reports to the Head People &amp; Culture and is responsible for executing the talent acquisition strategy which includes CEDPs EVP, strategic sourcing, early talent, recruitment processes, policies and business partnering initiatives. You will be responsible for leading a team of recruitment professionals and specialists aligned to clusters of schools and central office departments. More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Drive the hiring process and lead the delivery quality talent for a hugely diverse range of&nbsp; roles at all levels and meet with internal stakeholders to evaluate services</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Develop creative recruitment solutions for critical roles and to ensure we attract the appropriate level and quality of talent</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Create and implement recruiting best practices, ensuring exceptional service and support, with a primary focus on operational excellence, proactive, and cost-effective recruitment solutions</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate a solid understanding of the organisation and participate in strategic business discussions to assist with delivery of talent needed to achieve business priorities</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Contribute to the ongoing improvement of recruitment processes and the implementation of recruitment technology and innovation</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Coach the team to deliver full cycle recruitment to the organisation including developing selection criteria, sourcing, screening, short-listing, interviewing, selection and ensuring pre-employment checks, contracts and new starter paperwork are completed to the highest standards</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Guide and coach hiring leaders on all aspects of the hiring process to ensure that the right talent is selected for the right role and assist leaders with conducting on-time, quality candidate reviews and activities</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Partner with HR professionals and payroll to create an exceptional and positive recruitment experience for all stakeholders</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Analysing&nbsp; data and trends to ensure effective decision-making&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Manage and monitor talent acquisition budget</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Building and maintaining strong, collaborative and cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of CEDP along with the following selection criteria:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">5+ years’ experience in a leading an end-to-end recruitment function (job brief to onboarding)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">5+ years’ in a mentor, supervisor or leadership role</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience leading and supporting executive leadership recruitment (hiring leaders and candidates) through the recruitment cycle</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">SuccessFactors RCM and RMK experience and demonstrated expertise championing a defined best practice process across multiple stakeholder groups</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience in auditing, project management, vendor management, networking and strategy</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Education or similar industry (large and complex/matrix organisation structure) recruitment experience preferred</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best people to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an employer of choice in our sector.
