<p><b>About the College</b></p><p>As a Catholic School Thomas Carr College aims to educate our students with an appreciation of the spiritual as well as the intellectual and physical aspects of their lives. We aim to work with our parents to produce young people of faith and character. </p><p>At Thomas Carr College you become a member of a caring community built on Catholic values that have underpinned this emerging school over its 23-year history. Established in 1997 we have a proud tradition of transitioning students from primary school taking them on an inspiring learning experience, to create students who leave us after this six-year partnership as well-rounded individuals. Student centered learning is enhanced via a highly developed middle-years program, abundant technology for all students and state of the art new buildings and refurbishments. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>The Classroom Teacher, upon appointment, agrees to discharging the duties as outlined below. Reporting to the Deputy Principal- Learning and Teaching, they are responsible for ensuring that the learning and teaching programs at Thomas Carr College are contemporary, rigorous, engaging and reflect the College&#39;s vision and values. </p><p>The Learning Support Teacher’s major areas of responsibility are incorporated in those of a normal teaching role.
