It also contracts directly with its end-customers in the EU and arranges the shipping of its products.</p><p><b>About the Opportunity</b></p><p>NBPOL now has an opportunity for a full-time School Principal to join their team in Papua New Guinea on a 5-year contract (opportunity for renewal is subject to requirements and individual performance). The starting date for this role is Term 1, 2022.</p><p>Reporting to the Board, your key responsibility will be to lead the development of the school curriculum, and promote educational best practices.</p><p>Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:</p><ul><li>Ensure that the school follows the procedures of the Company and the School Board;</li><li>Ensure that school has clear procedures and the school complies with the NSW syllabus;</li><li>Provide teaching services in line with the current NSW curriculum;</li><li>Foster and develop close links with parents and the community; and</li><li>Ensure a healthy and safe environment conducive to learning.</li></ul><p><b>About You</b></p><p>To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor&#39;s qualification in Education and 5 years experience running a school at a Principal or as Head of a School capacity. As you will be required to teach classes, you are also required to have demonstrated experience as a teacher.</p><p>You will need to be an adaptable and resilient individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have effective managerial experience and skills.</p><p>Though not required, previous experience living/working in a remote location will be beneficial. You will need to demonstrate cultural sensitivity day-to-day when interacting with employees and external stakeholders alike.</p><p>Please note: As a requirement for this role, you will need to undergo police checks and Working with Children/Vulnerable People checks prior to commencing.
