<p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> <br> Our current Team Leader has been offered another position within our organisation, a role that really interests him. We are really going to miss him but, we are excited (and ready) to welcome someone else to step into this position and work with a dedicated team of 8.<br> <br> We are seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates with proven experience leading the successful delivery of human resource services in a complex organisational setting undergoing change. Supporting the General Manager Human Resources, this dynamic role provides hands on management, coaching and direction to the Human Resources team supporting MACS head office staff, to foster a culture of continuous improvement of HR policies, processes and approaches.<br> <br> The head of HR operations referred to as Team Leader within MACS will provide broad ranging generalist advice and support on employment matters, hold a strong focus on building team capacity to deliver service excellence, and promote effective stakeholder consultation between the Human Resources team and the MACS organisation. Through collaboration with the GM HR, this position also assists in aspects of strategy implementation and ensuring legislative and policy compliance requirements are met.<br> <br> <strong>ABOUT YOU</strong><br> The successful applicant will possess proven experience in an operational HR/IR leadership role and be able to seamlessly transition between matters, maintain high-level confidentiality and achieve stakeholder change buy-in. Strong communication skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to develop trusting working relationships with people at all levels will also be of high importance.<br> <br> The successful candidate must hold or acquire a Working with Children Check, and must be willing to acquire a National Police Record Check.
