<div><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located at Everton Hills in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community.</i></div><div><i><br /></i></div><div><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 820 students enrolled. The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West, Everton Park. The Middle &amp; Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, Everton Hills was opened in July 2009 and is home to Years 7-12.<br /><br /></i></div><div>******************************</div><div><br /></div><p>The successful candidate will be someone who can excel in the administration of human resources and processing payroll, and who will: </p><ul><li>embrace the positive work culture of the College </li><li>develop strong relationships with all community members based on mutual respect, while bringing professionalism and a desire for quality work in all aspects </li><li>be organised with the ability to balance competing demands and prioritise work to meet deadlines </li><li>be a quick learner who embraces the use of digital systems to increase efficiency </li><li>understand the need for confidentiality and discretion and uphold the highest standard of integrity at all times </li><li>be seeking an opportunity to develop skills and experience, be passionate about education and being part of a learning community. </li></ul><div>Formal HR or Payroll qualifications are not required, however experience in these areas and/or a strong administration background will be highly regarded.</div><div><br /></div><p>The successful applicant will work under the Direction of the Business Manager and Accountant/Deputy Business Manager, and training and guidance will be provided.</p><p>Duties will include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>completion of staff documentation (contracts and variations)</li><li>coordinating registers of employment working arrangements</li><li>coordinate induction and exit procedures</li><li>maintain training registers and qualifications/certifications (e.g. blue cards)</li><li>prepare and process payroll entries, ready for review</li><li>assisting with writing procedures and manuals</li></ul><p>There is flexibility on the hours (including a balance of term and non-term time working weeks) and role description, which will be based on expressions received.</p><p>To express your interest, you must include:</p><ol><li>CV</li><li>Covering letter detailing:</li></ol><ul><li>why you will be able to excel in this role</li><li>your commitment to the ethos and Christian foundations of the College</li><li>preferred hours of work including balance of holidays/term time.
