Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified and experienced Catholic teachers for the position of principal of the following Catholic primary school in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. SCHOOL: Our Lady of Perpetual Succour School, Surrey Hills POSITION TO COMMENCE: Term 1, 2022 2021 Census Enrolment: 169 Duration of appointment: 8 years Indicative Base Salary: 2-1

<p>Applicants are required to: </p><p>• demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and an understanding of the leadership </p><p>role in Catholic education </p><p>• demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children </p><p>• have experience in a formally appointed leadership role within a Catholic primary school (e.g. Principal, Deputy Principal, Religious Education Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, Acting Principal) </p><p>• have current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) </p><p>• have academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (master’s degree or five-year equivalent) </p><p>• have relevant, appropriate and substantial educational experience, including classroom teaching and leadership positions, in a variety of educational settings </p><p>• have relevant experience within the last five years in Catholic primary schools, </p><p>or currently in a role associated with and supporting Catholic primary schools </p><p>• be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school. </p><p>Note: Applicants teaching in Catholic primary schools prior to 1977 are exempt from this last requirement. </p><p><br /></p>
