<p>We are seeking an innovative and energetic educator who is qualified to teach in our College in this temporary, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2022.</p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following:</p><p>Commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students.</p><p>Current knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), its processes and obligation to schools. </p><p>Ability to work in collaboration with teachers to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students. </p><p>Evidence of highly developed planning, organisational and resource management. </p><p>Committed to supporting student wellbeing. </p><p>Qualifications in Special Education and/or extensive teaching experience in a specialised setting. </p><p>Experience in personalised planning for ATSI students and students with disabilities. </p><p>Ability to develop and deliver quality Life Skills programs and differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. </p><p>Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills. </p><p>Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment and with the wider school community, inclusive of parents / carers. </p><p>Willingness to contribute to student learning initiatives beyond the classroom. </p><p>Working knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and the Disability Standards for Education (DSE) legislation and its implications for schools.</p><p>Exemplary classroom practice, including the application of a range of evidence-based pedagogical practices that support effective learning and academic rigour.</p><p>Facilitates the ongoing development of differentiated pedagogy and assessment which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data</p><p>A commitment to continual improvement of teaching and learning in at least 1 KLA by modelling differentiated pedagogy and reflective classroom practices as well as facilitating staff professional development in best practice teaching skills and content knowledge.</p><p>Highly developed interpersonal skills reflecting an ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and students.</p><p>Collaborates with colleagues to build genuine and professional relationships and to promote shared commitment and a sense of alignment with College strategic directions.</p><p>Excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills.</p><p>Exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate these into a wide range of curriculum applications.</p><p>An innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively.</p><p>Bethany is a technology-rich school with a Newman Selective Gifted Education Program School which offers a selective class in Years 7 - 10.
