Year Level/Subject: Primary St Anthony's Catholic School, Glen Huntly, is a welcoming, vibrant and diverse community. We are seeking a Part Time, three days a week, Classroom Teacher to join our School Team beginning Term One 2023.

<p>The successful applicant must: </p><p> </p><ul><li>demonstrate the importance of education in faith in our Catholic community</li><li>have a knowledge of current teaching pedagogy and practice in English, Mathematics, Inquiry Learning, Catholic Social Teachings and Curriculum and the use of ICT in the classroom to integrate the curriculum</li><li>have effective interpersonal skills which assist in promoting supportive and caring relationships with staff, students and families </li><li>be reflective of their practice as outlined in the AITSL Standards and open to giving and receiving feedback </li><li>effectively use data to inform the teaching and learning of students </li><li>plan and deliver learning experiences that are differentiated to accommodate a range of abilities and student needs</li><li>have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team </li><li>be committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students </li><li>engage students in relevant purposeful learning experiences and empower students to have ownership of their learning </li><li>be familiar with and comply with the school&#39;s child safe policy and code of conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety. </li></ul><p> </p><p>St Anthony&#39;s community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><p> </p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><p>The successful applicant must: </p><p> </p><ul><li>willing to learning InitiaLit and the Writing Revolution pedagogy and practice </li><li>hold accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school</li><li>have a strong knowledge and commitment to the child safety standards and policies </li><li>have an effective practice in wellbeing where an understanding of how children are enabled to be resilient and adaptive  </li><li>hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration </li><li>hold current First Aid certificate. </li></ul><p> </p><p>The school reserves the right to appoint the position prior to closing date of applications. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><br /></p>
