A skilled, patient and nurturing Learning Support Officer for Middle or Senior School students

<p>We are seeking to employ a highly caring, giving, dedicated and skilled Learning Support Officer to join our school community for the 2022 school year. </p><p>The position is for 5 days a week with working hours of 9.10am to 3.10pm.</p><p><i>(with a minimum of 4 days if that is all you wish)</i></p><p> </p><p>Applicants need to have a keen interest in supporting and working with special needs students. </p><p>The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to work as a collaborative team member with our Learning Diversity Leader, classroom teachers, specialist teachers and other LSOs in our school community . </p><p>Applicants for this position should demonstrate: </p><p>* a commitment to Catholic Education and the well-being and safety of students </p><p>* a commitment to the Child Safe policy of the school </p><p>* the ability to work closely with others . </p><p>The successful applicant will: </p><p>* take direction from the Learning Diversity Leader and classroom teachers to implement students&#39; Personal learning Plans </p><p>* assist students either individually or in a group </p><p>* provide physical, social and emotional care for students </p><p>* liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs </p><p>* be flexible in dealing with the changing and diverse needs of individual special needs students </p><p>* have a current Working with Children Check </p><p>* have a minimum Certificate III in Education Support</p><p>Applications should include the details of 3 professional referees who will attest to the wonderful attributes you will bring to our school.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
