St Michael’s Primary School, Daylesford, seeks a passionate teacher and leader for the role of Assistant Principal which also will have another leadership role attached from: Learning & Teaching, and/or Learning Diversity, to be negotiated with the successful applicant. <p>St Michael’s Primary School, Daylesford, seeks a passionate teacher and leader for the role of Assistant Principal which also will have another leadership role attached from: Learning &amp; Teaching, and/or Learning Diversity, to be negotiated with the successful applicant. A teaching load component for this role will also be negotiated with the successful applicant.</p><p>We are seeking an experienced, motivated and inspiring Teacher with appropriate leadership experience to join our dynamic school community. This key role will support the Principal and a team of dedicated teaching professionals in the implementation of our faith based, comprehensive and diverse curriculum, and contemporary approach to pedagogy. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The key selection criteria for this role are:</b></p><p>1. advocate a shared whole school vision that drives school improvement;</p><p>2. drive high expectations of learning through a considered approach to contemporary pedagogy, effective assessment practices and sound curriculum knowledge; </p><p>3. foster and advocate through word and example the Catholic identity of the school;</p><p>4. demonstrate the capacity to develop and maintain an engaging and safe learning environment to ensure the dignity of the whole child;</p><p>5. demonstrate through a deep self-awareness, the capacity to build strong relationships, and engage with staff, students and parents in a respectful, inspiring way;</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Mandatory requirements </b></p><p>be committed to the ethos of Catholic Education and living the school’s vision;</p><p>hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration with a minimum of 10 years teaching experience; </p><p>have relevant post graduate qualifications commensurate with the leadership of a professional learning community;</p><p>be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or hold a commitment to obtain accreditation;</p><p>be committed to leading the safety of students and have a demonstrated commitment to the wellbeing of children; </p><p>be committed to undertaking ongoing professional development and leading the development of others; </p><p>have a demonstrated ability to form and forge respectful and effective relationships with key stakeholders of the school community;</p><p>be required to satisfactorily pass national police check.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Application Procedures<br /></b></p><p>Applications are to be addressed and emailed to the Principal:</p><p>Mr Ethan Corfee at principal&#64;smdaylesford.catholic.edu.au</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Written applications should contain the following:</b></p><p>1.
