The College is seeking to appoint a senior leader with the experience and expertise to develop and implement wellbeing structures and practices that will enhance the learning outcomes of all students. This position attracts a 3pt coordinator allowance.

<p>The role of the Director of Wellbeing for Learning exists to promote and enhance the wellbeing of students in all aspects of their school life: social, emotional, physical, academic and spiritual (<i>cf. Australian Student Wellbeing Framework</i>). </p><p>As a member of the College’s Senior Leadership Team the Director of Wellbeing for Learning shares responsibility for the implementation of the College’s Strategic Improvement Plan. </p><p>In collaboration with the Director of Learning and Curriculum, the Director of Wellbeing for Learning works to embed pedagogical and pastoral care practices that create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of every student. </p><p><b>Essential criteria</b></p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate </p><ul><li>a commitment to the Catholic life and values of the College. </li><li>experience as a highly effective and innovative classroom teacher. </li><li>experience leading and developing pastoral care and wellbeing programs that address individual needs and the common good. </li><li>a strong commitment to their own professional learning and the professional growth of colleagues. </li><li>the capacity to engage parents and the wider community to develop and strengthen relationships that support student wellbeing for learning. </li><li>the capacity to lead highly effective and sustained professional learning that is focussed on student learning growth. </li><li>highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. </li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><u> </u></b></p>
