<p>Taree Christian College has a student enrolment of approximately 650 students (15% Indigenous) and is situated in the greater Taree region on the mid-north coast of NSW. </p><p>Selection Criteria </p><p>The successful applicant must be: </p><p>1. a practising Christian: </p><p>o active in a church and subscribe to the Statement of Faith (available on the College website); </p><p>o demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to teach from a Christian perspective; </p><p>2. able to work collaboratively: </p><p>o have strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of quality team teaching; </p><p>3. an excellent teacher: </p><p>o teach explicitly with an ability to cater for the full range of learners; </p><p>o integrate ICT into teaching; </p><p>o have excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of students; </p><p>o have an understanding of early intervention literacy and numeracy strategies; </p><p>o be able to understand and use data to inform planning. </p><p>Application Procedure </p><p>Applicants must complete and submit: </p><p>• an Application for Employment and </p><p>• a separate CV that addresses the above criteria. </p><p>The successful applicant must satisfy NSW Working with Children and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) teacher employability requirements and be eligible to work in Australia. </p><p>Applications should be addressed to the Principal, Mr David Coleman, and close on Friday 29 October 2021 at 4:00pm.
