<p>Blue Mountains Grammar School is a co-educational Christian School in the Anglican tradition for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. The School maintains a proud tradition of academic excellence founded on high quality teaching, learning, and interpersonal relationships within an inclusive community in the heart of a beautiful World Heritage listed National Park.</p><p><b>The Position</b><br /></p><p>The Head of Junior School is expected to provide inspirational leadership focused on empowering staff and enriching opportunities for students by identifying opportunities for, planning and facilitating continuous improvement. As a strategic and supportive member of the School’s Executive team, this position shares the collaborative leadership of the whole School and is expected to contribute to its development with specific consideration and advocacy for the distinct needs of Primary aged children.<br /></p><p>This role carries responsibility for the day to day operations of the Junior School. It centres on efficient and effective administration and management, the setting and maintenance of culture, supporting students in their learning and wellbeing, and the operation of effective pastoral care and student leadership programs.
