<p><em><strong> </strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Have you always wanted to work in a small school environment </strong></em><em><strong>where you get to know every child?</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong> </strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Do you enjoy being part of a team where you can </strong></em><em><strong>really make a difference in the lives of your students?</strong></em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>If this describes you then we would love to receive your application.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>St Joseph the Worker Catholic Primary School is seeking a Diverse Learning teacher.</p> <p> </p> <p>Essential:</p> <ul><li>Knowledge and commitment to the mission of the Catholic school.</li><li>Dynamic and innovative Diverse Learning teacher with high expectations for students.</li><li>Experience with the NCCD and writing IAPs for students with additional needs.</li><li>Ability to create inclusive practice in school culture in relation to the effective implementation of personalised learning and adjustment plans for students with diverse needs K-6.</li><li>Capacity to effectively work in a team to support teacher in developing shared understandings of program differentiation and effective interventions for students with diverse learning needs</li><li>Deep understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act and Disability Standards for Education.</li><li>Ability to collect and analyse student data and implement effective interventions for students with diverse learning needs.</li><li>Strong organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively as part of a professional learning community with a shared pedagogy..</li><li>Proven interpersonal skills and a commitment to working effectively with colleagues and families.</li><li>Expertise in liaising with parents. carers, colleagues, external agencies and professional organisations.</li><li>An ongoing commitment to professional development.</li><li>Ability to contribute to the development of whole school initiatives.</li><li>Qualifications and accreditation to teach Religious Education to the SACS Board Policy.</li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Desirable:</p> <ul><li>Prior experience in the role of Diverse Learning teacher.</li><li>Tertiary qualifications in Special Education.</li></ul><p>Applications, including a curriculum vitae with contact details for three referees, should be forwarded to the Principal at principal&#64;stjwauburn.catholic.edu.au.</p>
