The mission of the College is to embrace our Catholic culture, as well as developing skills, values and attitudes that enhance all natural gifts.</p> <p dir="ltr">POSITION DESCRIPTION</p> <p dir="ltr">The School Business Manager is a permanent full time position commencing as soon as possible, but no later than January 2022.&nbsp; This is a leadership position within the school and will work directly with the principal and has specific responsibilities across a range of key areas including finance, administration and facilities management.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">The successful applicant will have previous managerial experience in either an educational setting (as an administration coordinator, business manager or bursar) or medium sized firm with relevant formal qualifications and a desire to know, understand and contribute to the Mission and Vision of Holy Spirit College.</p> <p dir="ltr">ESSENTIAL CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader&nbsp;Catholic Church.</li> <li dir="ltr">Proven experience at a managerial level with a strong skill set in administration, financial and facilities management.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to lead, motivate and work with people within teams and at all levels and with varying backgrounds.&nbsp;</li> <li dir="ltr">Proven ability to recognise confidential issues and treat them with the sensitivity required.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to determine and manage priorities in a fast-paced school environment and delegate appropriately.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to represent the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional way.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">GENERAL CAPABILITIES applicable to the role:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.&nbsp;</li> <li dir="ltr">Strong negotiation skills.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to maintain confidentiality&nbsp;and be discrete.</li> <li dir="ltr">Effective organisational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.</li> <li dir="ltr">Highly developed organisational and project management skills.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">A minimum of Certificate IV in a relevant business/management/finance discipline, degree qualified desirable.</li> <li dir="ltr">Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable role.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">SALARY:</p> <p dir="ltr">Salary for School Business Managers is based on enrolment size of the school. Remuneration for the School Business Manager position is $127,734 per annum + 10% superannuation.
