<p>An opportunity exists for a teacher&#39;s aide at an innovative, alternative high school in the Mount Druitt area.   This is a permanent part-time position for 32.5 hours per week.</p> <p>Blacktown Youth College is an independent, non-faith, co-educational high school meeting the educational and social needs of adolescents excluded from, or not coping with, mainstream schooling.  The school is currently registered and accredited by NESA to enrol Years 7 to 12 at our Hebersham Campus.</p> <p>We are seeking a reliable person with a strong work ethic who is confident in supporting students in a variety of subjects. Qualifications and/or previous experience would be an advantage but not essential.</p> <p> <b><u>Essential:</u> </b></p><p> <strong>Current NSW Working with Children Check number (date of birth MUST be included for verification purposes).</strong></p><p><strong>As per current Public Health (COVID-19 Vaccination of Education and Care Workers) Order 2021; evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations.</strong></p> <p><strong>Willingness to work with challenging teenagers in a small school environment.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
