<p>The Faculty of Arts, School of Education is seeking an energetic Master Special Education Teacher to develop and manage the educational program for a class of primary school children with a disability. </p><p><b>Macquarie University Special Education Centre<br /></b>The MUSEC School is an independent K-6 School for Children with Special Learning Needs and provides onsite professional experience for postgraduate students in special education. Each of the four classes at the school is supported by a Master Special Education Teacher, a Special Education Teacher and at least one Teacher Assistant. In addition, classes are supported by a Speech Pathologist and a Visual Arts Teacher.</p><p><b>The Role</b><br />This is a unique role for a teacher with Special Education qualifications and experience. The Master Special Education Teacher manages the class team and develops and manages the individualised education programs for a class of up to 12 children with a disability.</p><p>For more information about the role please contact Grace Deng at <b>grace.deng&#64;mq.edu.au</b> for a copy of the position description. </p><p><b>About You</b><br />Your knowledge and understanding of best practice methodologies will be used to guide and coach postgraduate students on practical placement within the school.
