<p>Pymble Ladies’ College is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia for girls Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding from Year 7. We are proud to have passionate and dedicated staff who recognise the unique strengths and qualities of every Pymble girl. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Role </b></p><p>The College invites applicants for the newly created roles of Head of Year 7 &amp; 8 (Boarding) and Head of Year 9 (Boarding) to commence from the start of Term 1, 2022 on a permanent, full-time basis. On site residential accommodation will be provided to the successful applicant and family. </p><p>You will be part of the Boarding leadership team, working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to contribute to a strong and connected Boarding community. Central to the role is an ability to foster a positive and resilient culture which supports the physical, emotional, academic and social wellbeing of our girls. </p><p><i><br /></i></p><p><i>Responsibilities of the position include: </i></p><ul><li>Maintaining an active presence within the Boarding House to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of Boarders at all times. </li><li>Attending meetings and key events relevant to the Year group. </li><li>Supporting the implementation of special programs designed to enhance the Boarding experience. </li><li>Administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Boarding House. </li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>About you </b></p><p>You will have: </p><ul><li>Previous leadership experience in an educational or boarding setting providing management, support and mentoring to young people. </li><li>Demonstrated passion for working with students in a residential setting dedicated to supporting their physical, emotional, spiritual, academic and social needs. </li><li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills to sustain and develop quality and supportive relationships with Boarders, parents and staff. </li><li>Relevant Boarding specific qualifications including First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Duty of Care and Boarding Fundamentals are desirable.
