St. Joseph's, Kingswood is an exciting, professional school community. We are looking for a committed, caring and passionate Leader of Learning to be part of our school community in 2022. Position description: Permanent teaching position / Temporary Leader of Learning position. Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the School</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate the highest levels of personal and professional integrity</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Be committed, passionate and knowledgeable about teaching and learning of their subject area</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Be involved in the selection and induction of new staff</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Drive the pedagogical vision of the School within the broader educational life of the School</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Lead staff with vision, purpose and a strong commitment to excellence</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Prepare students for changing demands of a global community</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Establish a positive relationship with students, their families and the broader community</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will be a passionate, experienced and contemporary Leader of Learning.
