Two further extensions (each of four years) may be offered based on performance outcomes. The position will be underpinned by a permanent (ongoing) teaching position within Catholic Education.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt"><br><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type: none"> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">A capacity to support, enliven and advocate on behalf of the Catholic foundation of the College and its Vision.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">Excellence as a school teacher (as understood by the professional standards) in one or more curriculum areas.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">A fully evolved vision of the place of pastoral care in a large, coeducational Catholic school.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">A record of success, innovation and initiative in project management of programmes that strategically respond to and enhance pastoral care and learning in a school setting</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">Communication skills that include enhanced ability to listen, speak and write with varied purpose to a variety of stakeholders.
