<p>Heritage College is currently seeking candidates for the position of a Student Wellbeing Officer (part-time) to: </p><ul><li>support the wellbeing of students at the College by providing a confidential support and counselling service; </li><li>provide a listening ear, practical strategies and signpost external resources/professionals available to support students through personal, family or friend challenges; </li><li>build strong partnerships with parents and external expertise to enable vulnerable students to focus on their learning, improve social dynamics and personal self worth. </li></ul><p>This position is part of an SSO team where there are opportunities for ongoing professional development. </p><p>EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS </p><ul><li>Tertiary SSO qualification in education </li><li>Experience working within a school setting </li><li>Experience working with challenging adolescent issues </li><li>Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) </li><li>Current Responding to Abuse &amp; Neglect Certificate (RAN-EC or RRHAN-EC) </li><li>Current First Aid Certificate </li></ul><p>Please refer to the attached Document for full Position Description.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
