Mount Scopus Memorial College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced People and Culture Business Partner in a twelve months fixed term contract position.

<p>Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood. </p><p>The College is an IB World School and authorized provider of the Middle Years Programme, and Primary Years Programme. These programmes help develop independent thinking, positive attributes, responsibility and a global outlook in students. </p><p>The College is seeking an experienced, operationally focused, full-time People and Culture Business Partner. This is a full-time twelve month fixed term contract position,reporting to the Director of People and Culture. The position will encompass a variety of challenges and responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Provide professional advice, support and guidance to the leadership team and staff about Human Resources policies, procedures and issues. </li><li>Facilitate the resolution of employee relations and people issues including disputes, grievances, complaints, conduct, disciplinary and performance related matters by providing responsive support and coaching to managers, accurate and timely advice, undertaking effective case management, coordinating/conducting investigations as appropriate, under the guidance of the Director of People and Culture. </li><li>Facilitate the attraction and appointment of high-calibre staff with good organisational fit by advising and supporting managers regarding College recruitment policies, procedures, processes and best practices. </li></ul><p><b>What you&#39;ll need to succeed </b></p><p>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Organisational Development or related field are essential. </p><ul><li>At least 5 years generalist human resources experience in all aspects of human resources service delivery. </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal communication, collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and other stakeholders in a complex and geographically dispersed environment </li><li>Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, set realistic goals, meet deadlines and effectively handle difficult situations </li></ul><p>To view the Position Description, please see the attached document below.
