<p align="center"><strong>James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange<br>A Co-educational School Years 7-12<br></strong><strong>Current enrolment of 1069 students</strong></p> <p align="center"><img src="https://publicstorage.dc2.pageuppeople.com/1040/ProviderAsset/scribble/31a47d0c-23f8-4808-a784-87b81e3b5c19.jpg" width="100" height="124"></p> <p><strong>Teacher – Librarian<br>Full-time Permanent Position</strong><br><strong>Commencing&nbsp;28 January 2022</strong></p> <p>Applications are invited from the above position from qualified and innovative educators who demonstrate a sincere commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education and possess appropriate teaching qualifications.</p> <p>Suitable applicants for this position will be able to demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to Catholic education and a clear understanding of the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ethos of Catholic Schools, and the charisms of St. John Baptist de La Salle and the Venerable Catherine McAuley.&nbsp;</li> <li>Confidence and competency in planning and implementing programs to teach and develop information skills and to promote improved levels of information literacy in students&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability in supporting and assisting colleagues in actively implementing an integrated approach to teaching, learning and assessment through the effective use of learning technologies, learning platforms and online/ interactive programs&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to select, organise and manage information resources which meet the educational, cultural and recreational needs of students and the professional needs of teachers</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work and teach as part of a professional learning team&nbsp;</li> <li>Teacher accreditation (NESA), and possession of recognised professional qualifications in librarianship or commitment to achieve such qualifications within three years&nbsp;</li> <li>Willingness to work with the Learning Enhancement Team in providing Tiered Intervention Programs to support learning, literacy and numeracy&nbsp;Remove</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A valid <em>Working with Children Check Number</em> is required for this position and must be provided at the time of application.
