The school strives for all students to develop their own spirituality, relationships and potential to really become the best they can be.<br><br><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The Coordinator at St Gregory’s Primary is required to teach their own class and undertake the normal duties of a teacher including scheduled teaching, preparation, assessment and reporting, playground duties, sports duties, pastoral care, attendance at staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and the usual co-curricular activities of the school. <br><br><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a sound understanding of and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and community life of the school.</li> <li>Communicate effectively in both written and verbal format.</li> <li>Work collaboratively as member of a team and effectively facilitate group interaction.</li> <li>Effectively plan, prioritise, coordinate, and, if necessary, delegate multiple tasks in a timely manner.</li> <li>Use highly developed problem-solving skills and demonstrate emotional maturity.</li> <li>Maintain confidentiality and manage challenging situations with composure and diplomacy.</li> <li>Be a highly competent classroom teacher whose practices reflect current pedagogy and employ a broad range of teaching strategies and learning technologies.</li> <li>Must hold a relevant Working with Children registration and Teaching Accreditation.</li> <li>Must have completed relevant tertiary education/teaching degree.</li> </ul> <p><em>Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.</em><em><br><br></em><strong>Application Process</strong></p> <p>Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the vision of Catholic Education.<br><br>Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and current resume including a statement of suitability against the skills, attributes and experience as outlined in the Position Description.<br><br>This position involves working with children.
