It&#39;s the kind of work that invigorates children&#39;s learning while unlocking your own potential. </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>This is a permanent full-time Assistant Mathematics Coordinator (1pt Allowance) role to commence on 28 January 2022 at Mater Maria Catholic College, Warriewood. </p><p>We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative candidate for this fulltime position whose collective desire is to make Maths real and accessible to their students. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><ul><li>The Mathematic KLA Coordinator is delegated responsibility by the Principal for the coordination and supervision of a range of courses within the Mathematic area to ensure quality pedagogy and the development of the KLA staff as a professional learning team who enhance student learning and outcomes. The KLA Leader will manage efficiently and effectively the operations within the Mathematic Department and support promoting the College’s overall mission and vision. </li><li>Knowledge and experience to teach Extension Mathematic 1 &amp; 2 </li><li>Knowledge and experience to teach Mathematic Stage 4-6. </li><li>Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School; </li><li>Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all learners through varied teaching strategies and sound pedagogical practices; </li><li>Ability to understand the individual needs of students to maximise learning opportunities; </li><li>Committed, enthusiastic and innovative classroom teacher </li><li>Effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices </li><li>Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community </li><li>Ability to monitor professional learning needs and align them to the learning needs of students </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community. </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills able to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, colleagues, parents/carers and community members </li><li>In-depth knowledge of subjects and curriculum content within their sphere of responsibility </li><li>Able to integrate I.T. into the Curriculum </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li></ul><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
